Since I couldn't find a list of songs I'd thought I'd take a pic of the back to show. Great collection! the size of the book is smaller than I expected - having countless books with sheet music - this book is more the size of a fiction novel. Songs are laid out nicely and there is a great selection of songs in common guitar keys. My biggest complaint is that most hymns are in horrible keys for bands from their original keys. These seem to make everything easier.

Well Thought Out Formatting with a Great Collection of Hymns

Wonderful format with a great collection of classic hymns. For each song, the book shows the fingering for the chords used in that song, provides music notes for the melody for the first portion of the song for those that may need a memory refresher, and, of course, the words of the song with the chords written above. The full songs are included with the chords continuing to be written above the words so that you don't have to keep referring back to previous chords while reading the next verse.

Jeffrey M. Perloff is a professor in and chair of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California at Berkeley. His textbooks are Modern Industrial Organization (co-authored with Dennis Carlton) and Microeconomics. Great book

Very organized and easy to understand. This book was required for a kinesiology class I took, but it explains the material in a way that is easy for anyone to understand and it does a great job of highlighting the important points in each section.

Mixed bag

This is a charming salute to the many Spanish and Italian fashion designers of the past century. As always Mr Tierney's drawings are of the highest standard, and I especially liked the striking Latin features of the dolls. Unfortunately the lack of accuracy lets this collection down. A Balenciaga creation is credited to Pertegaz, some costumes are incorrectly dated, and Gianni Versace's work is represented by a costume design for an opera, when this is supposed to be a collection of fashion designs. A number of outfits aren't typical of the particular designer's work (eg Gigli, Ferre, Fontana, etc). Most puzzling of all is the inclusion of people whose ethnic descent is either Spanish or Italian, but their careers and businesses were established in other countries (eg Emanuel Ungaro, John Galliano, Elsa Schiaparelli, Nina Ricci, to name a few. Even Oscar de la Renta, an American designer born in the Dominican Republic is included!). Mr Tierney is still a great graphic artist, but his research has let him down in this instance.

About the Author
David Smith has been teaching introductory computer science classes for engineers at the Georgia Institute of Technology since 1997 when he retired from industry. Previously, he worked 31 years for Lockheed-Martin at their Marietta, Georgia, facility as a systems and software specialist with a focus on intelligent systems.  He was active in designing and developing software for the C-130J, C-27J, F-22 and C-5 aircraft, and was the technical leader of the Pilot’s Associate program, a $42 million research project sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

He has a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Southampton University, and a master’s degree in control systems from Imperial College, London.

Content hard to understand...

Started out using the MATLAB software with this book and I'd have to say that in combination with the book and my professor, the content is still a little too hard to understand if you don't have any previous programming background.

This book is written in JARGONS. If you are new to MATLAB, this book will NOT help you understand it. YouTube will do a better job and you will save you some bucks. I am in CS 1371 where neither the teacher nor this book helps FML.
